WORKING WITH US

With energy costs constantly rising and climate change affecting us all, low-carbon technology has an increasingly bigger role to play in the future of UK energy.

We’re here to ensure it’s a positive one.

Since 2008, MCS has become the recognised standard for UK products and their installation in the small-scale renewables sector. MCS is a mark of quality. We create and maintain standards that allow for the certification of low-carbon products, installers, and their installations, used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources.

The mission of MCS is to give people confidence in home-grown energy technology by defining, maintaining and improving quality.

We are now seeing our highest numbers of certified installations across the UK and continue to expand our team. Due to our growth, we have recently invested significantly in an office move. The office design was completed following intensive consultation with the MCS team to capture our brand, values, and create collaboration spaces that facilitate office and effective hybrid working – all within a BREEAM Outstanding-rated building, which places a real focus on sustainability.

MCS is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive a supportive work culture for all of our employees. We have created an attractive and supportive HR policy package that supports colleagues and creates an inclusive company culture.

As part of this package, we increased the company offering of annual leave, sick leave, emergency leave, maternity and paternity leave. We also continue to invest in our mental health improvement programmes and continuing professional development with dedicated annual training budgets for each staff member to use as they see fit. At regular all-staff engagement events, we check with our staff what they’d like to see from MCS in the future and how we can help them grow individually.

If you can contribute to our mission to give the UK confidence in home-grown energy, apply to one of the roles below to join our growing team and make your contribution in our national journey to net zero.
